We offer quicker access to care, sometimes even same-day or next-day visits, which can be particularly valuable when a child is sick or needs immediate attention and your primary provider isn't available. Well Rooted Pediatrics also offers newborn transitional care for families that would prefer more holistic and personalized approach during the important weeks of establishing feeding and learning about caring for a newborn.
Services available:
Newborn Transitional Care - house calls or office visits: 60-90 minutes of in-home or in-office support for your family in the immediate
post-partum period. Recommended for the first 24-72 hours post discharge. Additional visits also available until primary pediatric care is established..
Newborn exam including accurate measurements (length, weight, head circumference)
(not intended to take place of establishment with PCP (Primary care physician).
Provides extra set of eyes, addresses concerns, and answers any questions with the
addition of text, phone call/telemedicine support before and after appointment.
General care guidelines as recommended by the AAP but supporting and prioritzing
family preferences
Hands on Neonatal CPR in the comfort of your home
Breastfeeding support and referrals
Pediatric Urgent Care- in office, in home, or telemedicine (additional fees for
testing)
Diagnosis and treatment of common childhood illness in patients 6 months-18 years old
Fever
Cough and common colds (including flu, COVID, RSV)
Sore throat
Asthma
Allergies
Constipation
Vomiting
Minor skin infections
Urinary problems
